Just a note : Do not give attention to the french words you may see there since they aren't important at all.
Double click on the Exe file, it will popup a window that looks like this one : |
Then click on Browse to get this window : |
Click on the "+" sign to open the directory in order to get down to mIRC directory. Like this : |
See the Sound named directory? Select it and press ok. |
Once done press the Install button and all the file in the archive will be extracted like this : |
Now we are done with sound extraction. All we need to do now is into mIRC so launch it up. |
First press (if the window ain't open already) ATL+O to open the configuration window : |
Once more, click on the "+" sign in front of "Sounds" on the left side box of the window and select "Sounds" : |
If there's not a checkmark into the box in front of "Enable sounds" then put one in it by clicking into the box. |
Then select, from the left side of the window "Requests " and makes sure there's a Check marks into the box of "Accetp sound requests" : |
One last thing, near the bottom there : "Sound folders:" use the arrow to the right of the text into the box and select "Wave" : |
See the text just under that box where you can read Wave (*.wav)? Makes sure it says the right folder where your sound file are now if it's not right, like mine click on it to change it : |
Select the "Sounds" folders and press enter. |
You should get this at the end : |
